FavoritesVirus is a Windows program that backs up your Internet favorites. It displays a list of all your favorite items on the screen, and allows you to download and restore them on another PC. FavoritesVIew requires nothing more from you than a few clicks of your mouse. The program displays a list of your Favorites in the standard Windows menu bar, and also allows you to download and add your favorites from your own computer or a Favorites list maintained by other users on the Net.
DESCRIPTION. FavoritesVIew displays a list of all of your Favorites (and other bookmarks) in a single screen. Each line in this list specifies the name of the item, its URL, the creation/modified date of this bookmark, and the folder it is saved in. You click one or more of your selected favorites, and then copy them from your current window to your Favorites list. You can then use the Disk Cleanup feature of Windows to delete these items from your system files. The following steps briefly describe the process of downloading, installing, and subsequently using FavoritesVirus.
AFTER downloading FavoritesVirus, save it to a convenient location on your hard drive. This application supports several different types of external drives, including CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, Zip disks, and USB drives. You should select the right drive type as discussed in the next section. Once the application is installed, run it by clicking on the " Fired up" icon at the bottom of your computer screen. In the Favorites view, click on the "Search for bookmarks" button and search for the URL you entered inside the application and click the "Open" button.
